    Certified Body Balance Yoga® Teacher
    Anusara-Inspired™ Yoga Teacher
International Assoc. of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), member

Lorna began her yoga journey over 15 years ago. Starting slow using tapes and home methods, she soon realized that she felt really good after doing a little yoga. A little turned into a lot and it has thankfully become her “way of life” in all that she approaches—physically, mentally and spiritually. “Yoga was and is something to grow into but more importantly Yoga is the path.” Lorna’s first mentor was Brette Scott who opened the door to a true balance. It was through her classes that a whole new world of awareness opened around her life. "Yoga became my journey of self exploration." Utilizing the Yogic path through the Anusara System, Lorna became an RYT-200 and Anusara-Inspired™ teacher. She continues her studies emphasizing Ayurveda and therapeutics. As a teacher in training, she met her second mentor, Jenny Otto, and studied therapeutics with her for 2 years, training in Washington DC every month while living in Cleveland. “Jenny Otto changed my life and my way of practicing yoga. It is with an understanding of the postures, the body, thoughtfulness and love that I teach my student base. I am on a journey to educate myself and my students into a fuller richer yogic experience. Teachers are not stagnant; a teacher is an ever-evolving person who cares honors and inspires students through their spiritual journey. My greatest gratitude to Jenny Otto, Brette Scott, and the many friends and teachers I have met on this path and the excitement of the many more I have yet to meet."
